Vector Conflict: The Siege

This game has achievements you can earn for your profile. Just make sure you're logged in when you play.

	The Miser - easy Accumulate 500 or more unspent resources, in any game mode.
	Hero of SOTER - medium Complete campaign mode on any difficulty setting.
	Survivalism - medium Stay alive for 8 minutes in Survival Mode.
	Unscathed - medium Earn your first 1000 points in Survival Mode without losing your shield.
	Legend of SOTER - hard Complete campaign mode on the hard difficulty setting.
	Jackal - hard Destroy a Cormorant using only your primary weapon, in Survival or Hard Campaign mode.

You are in control of the defensive systems for the vast SOTER underground bunker. You are the last line of defense for the survivors taking refuge below – protect them at all costs. The controls are listed below:

Mouse: Aim and shoot the primary weapon.
A/D: Rotate 90 degrees left or right.
W/S: Rotate a fast 180 degrees.
Spacebar: Fire a rocket.
E: Set off an EMP charge.
Q: Detonate a nuke.
R: Buy upgrades (survival mode only).
ESC or ENTER: Pause menu (option to restart current level)

Lefties can use JKLUIOP instead of the letter keys above.

The yellow airplanes are called Cormorants!
I played it on my touchscreen tablet and it was a blast, totally addictive, more music, and it has multi-touch so you can pretty much spray the bad guys with missiles when you get pretty far along. If there are a lot of ground forces you use an EMP and focus on the blue darts. If they are coming from two sides, shoot from from one side, and some from the other side, or else nuke them if you have to. I need some instructions for the controls on my desktop though, what key do I use to get to the menu to buy some more missiles? Seems very hard to do with mouse & keyboard.

Just decided to take a break in the middle of class and sur the web for some good games. And so far out of all the ones I've found THIS is definately my favorite! Too bad this is the last day of having a substitute. Class change gotta go!

If I wouldn't be old, cranky and insane I wouldn't be aware that the random generator that sends all those enemy planes to my vast SOTER underground bunker has taken on a life of its own and is now attacking all survivors taking refuge below more ferociously than ever before.
