The Great War of Prefectures

*** This game does not have any Dig Your Own Grave Achievements. You can only earn achievements for your profile by playing these games.

Your goal is to invade all the prefectures (states/regions) and become the Emperor of Japan. Select a prefecture to start. Hire soldiers by selecting a type on the left sidebar and click on your prefecture. Move your army by dragging the mouse over your soldiers and click on one of the arrows which appear. Build labs to increase your soldier type and strategy. Drag the “hold” icon to command your army during combat, or click on “hold” icon to automate attack. When you run out of options, simply click “Finish Turn”.

Hire soldiers, and build laboratories and military bases on conquered lands to strengthen your army. During combat, drag the “hold” tab side ways to position your army for attack, and click on the “hold” tab to unleash death (”hold” switches to “will”) Use the minimap on the top right corner to move the main map (drag the white box).

Use the bar next to the minimap to zoom in and out. Click the Save button twice to save.

I beat the game as the Aomori.

I still think this game is pretty ridiculous, though. There are swordsmen, and snipers (guys with guns), and the gods are Roman even though the names of the clans seem more Japanese to me.

The AI and the graphics are terrible, and yet... I spent an hour of my life winning this game, ten minutes of which was spent on the -SPOILER ALERT- last four islands.

I still beat it though.

Heh, this is a pretty fun game. Took me a little while to get used to it and figure out what's good and what isn't, but now I bet I can win with any prefecture. I beat it with Yamanashi first and I just owned it with Hiroshima.

Knights rip this game a new one, until you can replace them with Samurai.

It was also impossible since I started in the middle and all my increasing tech level stuff was there...and no army was even close to it.
