In Squares 2 you need to use your big black square to collect the smaller black squares for points (by touching them). Touching a red square ends the game. Black circles are powerups and red circles are powerdowns.

Glad I bumped those people who went after the circles. Must have taken them hours. High scores should be the number of squares you get. Going after the circles for the 1k bonus points is cheap. Especially when you only get 6 squares *cough* squares champ *cough*

I went after the circles until about 10k. Not for the bonus points but to make the square you control smaller. When I got it really small I went after the squares. Once it hits 150 or so I didn't notice any increase in speed after that point. My first attempts I just went after the squares right away but the square I controlled got huge.

It's not. You collect bonus circles while the game is slow with 0 squares. Eventually you'll have a lot of points. Perhaps the number of squares collected would have been a better method for high scores.
