The second I loaded up a game a Malicious smile appeared on my face, because I heard the Violin theme song from Age of War!
And true to the theme song, this song was very fun. My favorite thing to do was get a army of long range Fire Archers, everything would be exterminated immediately! I didn't enjoy the Vercing Campaign as much as Caesar's though, but still a amazing game!
Don't worry, I had the same problem. Just spam archers and you'll be fine. If you go to Max Games and play the Boar campaign you find out why.

The Sleaze says:
Am I the only one that thinks that the big boar level on Vercing is f-cking impossible?

Me before I started playing this game: "Huh, I suppose this might be interesting..."
Me the second I pressed play: "OMG EPIC VIOLIN MUSIC FROM AGE OF WAR! :D ^.^ *squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!*"
This game is win just for the violin. Thank you admin for not rapturing us so we could play this game *Bow*.
Best game in a long time, how is it, every time I'm feeling down, Admin Posts an awesome game like this. It's historically accurate to a point, and the simple game play can build on top of itself, to form large strategies. And as a side note, because this took place before Chivalry, I have NO problem making entire armies out of long-range archers.
This really is a good game. Good and balanced unit types, challenges are not to hard and time consuming. Free to chose your own tactics. Yes I like it. Only minus is how the upgrades work as a different, more expensive unit type, and not stack on the existing units.
