The peacock spider's flamboyant and flailing display evolved in response to the poor service at restaurants in his neighborhood. Being able to flag-down a waitress to secure refills of drinks and dinner rolls gives the peacock spider an advantage when trying to impress his potential mate.

Lol, it amuses me that they are only four millimeters long. It's funny how even creatures so tiny still have such a complex and creative behavioral system. :P
