I've got a useful tip. With the ordinary cars, limos and trucks push them into the pavement. The car wont drive off and it will run over all the peds, giving YOU all the points.

p.s. there is a glich with the flame thrower: if you die after getting it there is no fuel tank and unlimited fuel

I just continue, its really hard to get there without. He probably got a lower score because when you contunue it resets your score to 0.
