If you listen she gets a lot of those completely wrong (Antarctica around 2:50 in is the worst). She just says it quickly and confidently and no one even checks.

She doesn't seem to speak them backwards, she speaks gibberish. However the best way to test would be to play the sound in reverse and see if they remotely sound like the original word.
I was really hoping someone would say something like "tish ym tee".

Sometimes she's saying/pronouncing the words backwards (phonetically) and sometimes it seems like she's just saying the word as if she were reading the sequence of letters spelled backwards - which is not always the same thing. Either way, she does it very quickly so I guess it's pretty cool.
