It sounds like a really low trumpet. Very cool idea, although I was kind of disappointed at how non-weird the sound was.
I couldn't agree more
RIIIIIIIII-COOOOOOOOO-LAAAAAAAAA-skooobidoobidoo bop bop bop yeah...
Seriously, though, that was pretty cool.
Awesome! I now have some music for my morning. :D
trumpet still sounds better
sax still sounds better
although this might have attracted a few people off the street into the club...
Her name's Eliana Burki- I found this quote about her: "With her pierced nose and ripped jeans Eliana Burki is a symbol of anarchy in the Swiss alphorn scene."
I found it utterly hilarious.
Sounds like ass. This is probably why more people don't play alphorns in real bands.
That doesn't sound half as strange as I thought it would... slightly disappointed really...
Even though I really loved this I found I could only listen to half of it. There was part of me that wanted to keep listening because of the cool factor, but the sound really was just too low and odd to be pleasing to the ear.
I really love the quote teflon found, "symbol of anarchy in the Swiss alphorn scene" that's just too funny to me. I didn't even know there was a Swiss alphorn scene!
I still love this song, I keep coming back here to hear it :)
