Tough Love Machine
categories: Games

I can tell you a tale of tough love if you have some time. It involves myself, an ant farm, a space heater, and two apricot Yankee Candles. Dammit I loved those ants.

I managed to make it one level farther than you, Robot :P

This game is really weird (in a good way?) though.

This is so strange...WHERE ARE THESE HANDS COMING FROM!? Whose hands are they? Why do they want to get these hearts together? Perhaps I'm asking for too much by asking for a backstory out of a flash game though, but even flash games aren't normally this bizarre. I guess the hands are in love with each other and are using the hearts to express their affection? I assume that at the end they finally get together and handshake, which I assume is the hand equivalent of sexual intercourse. It's gotta work somehow.

It's a very clever concept though, even if it is really creepy. Reminds me of the Snake game, except there are two of them...and they're hands. I liked the noises I made when I moved them though. I spent most of my time just moving the hands and giggling at the noises because my tiny little brain couldn't comprehend these puzzles. It is very challenging too, considering I was already struggling three levels in, but sometimes I can't tell if it really is challenging or if I'm just stupid. I suppose it's better than them all being a piece of cake, but I can see where the name TOUGH love is coming from.

Oh, and the game lamented me for playing flash games instead of working, which was coincidentally the same level at which I gave up, so perhaps you should be concerned that this game will cause people to have a "Oh god, what am I doing with my life?" moment and abandon flash games forever. :P Not me though! I'll just go and find a nice easy game with detailed instructions on how to pass every level instead. Using your brain is hard. :(
