I finished the Human and Klosian campaigns.
Whoa I really can't decide which is the strongest... I ended up in the final Human campaign mission having something like 5-6 Fighters, 4-5 Frigate Ships and 4-5 Juggernauts. I guess the enemy got screwed up a bit.
I found myself a bit less comfortable with Klosians, but the teleporting ships were just cool. Oh, and Ion Cores too: their unlimited range is quite useful. The Mothership on the other hand wasn't anything special to me.
As for the Sodinar, I already said enough before.
lawl last consecutive comment... Turns the warp gate does not need to be blocked, all you need to do is put a starcore in each orbit to bug the game regardless if its vs cpu or human ?
Correct, block there warp gate with either th feild or your own ships and have a starcore in each orbit WILL freeze the game (vs cpu no human opponent) AVOID THIS! that is unless you want the game to never progress lol
ROFLMAO i broke the game? apparently its not a good thing to put a starcore in each orbit and block there warp gate from spawning or the game will freeze? happened 2x to me xP
Very good game mechanic with the map parts moving around. Makes this one of those "a lifetime to master" games (provided you play against another human).
I've played all three races, and all three have their strengths and weaknesses.
The humans have the ability to mend their ships, and fire around corners.
The Klosians have a "cheap" ship with immense range, and the ability to swap ships.
The Sodinar have a multi-target attack and a ship that gets a power boost if more friendly ships are on the field.
Each of the three races requires their own game strategy. I somehow found the Klosians easiest, and the Humans hardest.
I realy liked the way that it was hard but not overly hard and even if you get screwed to the point of having only one point left for your base you can still pull it together and win the game
That map moving thing screwed me up a few, but this games is really good.
I thought the map orbiting mechanic was pretty clever.
That was fun. Very nicely done game, fun to play. Not hard, but that's okay because sometimes I like to just play a quick easy game. It was pretty and well done. In the old days of gaming this would have been one you paid $19.99 for.
Quite easy. I tried the Sodinar only, just produced a swarm of Orbs and went for number superiority and energy sources. Then deployed some heavy ships and lots of Nexuses. Way too easy IMO.
Must try with other races, but I guess it'll be quite the same.
