I have studied this time lapse footage of the weather, and clearly, the events of these 6 hours in this certain part of the world have proven 'global warming' to be erroneous. We can all stop worrying, because if it's cold somwhere at some time, then such a crisis cannot possibly exist... lol

Not to mention we are coming out of a mini ice age to begin with - which means the weather is warming naturally on it's own, even if we did nothing.

Granted we do have an impact on the climate and the steps people are taking to be "green" are good, it is not all human doing that is making the change we are seeing in climate.

If the temperature has changed on average by .5 degrees, the human impact of that is maybe .02 of those degrees.

The earth has warmed up and cooled down for 4 billion years, look at the Sahara desert in Africa, every 10,000 years it has been switching back and forth from a lush green land filled with water to a barren desert, and back again.

Among other things, all without human intervention or help.

There is no "Global Warming" in the term most people think of it, there is because that's what happens on Earth, it gets cold and then it gets hot and then it gets cold, etc....

Well, as far as the definition has been changed and stretched... if the summer was 1/15 of a degree hotter than the last 3 years, and the following winter was somehow 1/2 of a degree on average cooler that is still shuffled under "proof of global warming SEE, RIGHT THERE SEE IT! Our funding is justified!"

"I guess that rules out global warming... lol"

you're an idiot, remember 4 months ago? One of the hottest summers on record? Extreme hot and extreme cold is not ideal. Also the AMOUNT of snow would mean there is more moisture in the air than usual, watch out for hurricanes in the summer and extreme amounts of snow in the winter. Learn the definition of 'climate'

This was cool! Watch the clock. It was just shy of 24 hours.

Then there is the ski resort just outside Comox BC that has the largest snow pack of any ski resort in the world. Over 500cm of snow! (That doubles the next closest.)

The thing that I find funny, as do most people who live in the normal snow belt regions, is how unprepared people are. Here in the Prairies and in places around the Great Lakes, that are used to these types of events, we tend to shrug it off and keep going.

Mind you, the big concern this year is going to be flooding. Do a Google search for 'Red River Flood 1997' and that is what we're potentially faced with this coming spring. Especially if we get a major blizzard/snowfall before the melt. Could be ugly.
