Machinarium is a stunning point-and-click adventure from the same makers as Samorost. The good news is there’s a flash demo, the bad news is the price of the full version might be a little steep for today’s casual market. But I can promise you that behind every carefully crafted pixel is a giant koala bear hug.

If you're patient and willing to keep tabs on different download sites, I've seen Machinarium go on sale for as low as $2.50 - 5.00 USD both on their site as well as download sites like Steam, GamersGate, or Impulse.

It's a great game, the characters are fantastic, and worth the money in my opinion. Although these days you could get 20 iPhone games for that price, so it's a tough call.

I like koala's and i liked the demo the price isn't to bad but to spend it on one game i might not at first but when you compare it to games you'd get from say wal-mart some of them top off at around 60$ so it's not a bad price at all so i'll think about it
