Doodle God
categories: Games

If I could play god and reinvent the world from scratch I have to admit I wouldn’t do much differently. I would however forgo the giant armored sea spiders in favor of something a little more useful, like say a mix between a puppy and a vending machine.

Why stick with only few words, when you have a lot to say? I actually think your comments are nicely written in this review kind of way. The game is truly great, but I think I already said that in a comment for Doodle Devil :P.

Addicting, I got about 70 or so before getting stuck. When burning a bird, I only expected ash, therefore, Phoenix was, of course, one of the final elements I created. The little light bulb is definitely very helpful and waiting for another idea others may think boring, but I think is quite smart of the game, as it encourages you to try and make a new element yourself.
Score: 7/10
As I said, very fun and addicting, however, as it goes on, you get stuck easily and the combinations make less sense.
Wow, all of my comments are turning into reviews, perhaps I should stick with just a simple, short comment like the rest of you do.

It's an interesting game, but I was kinda hoping that by being a God you would be able to actually create the things instead of mixing and matching predetermined objects.

A lot of the combinations were really obscure, and it was missing a lot of obvious ones, but I guess that's a good thing. Fun game. Really distracting. c:

Pimp, that's like saying we DISCOVERED gravity but HARNESSED it power by falling down. Did we invent falling? An invention is something that did not exist before we invented it. Electricity has existed for a very long time. What we INVENTED are power lines, outlets, and dipole plugs. I'm not playing with words here. These are established scientific terms.

June 28th, 2010 at 3:02 am []D [] []\/[] []D says:

technically, it's both, because we DISCOVERED lightning but we HARNESSED it's power in the form of electricity.

but then there's also wind power and solar, and water, and etc.

June 28th, 2010 at 12:13 am Whys says:

That kind of funny, but you're right Pimp. Electricity was a discovery, not an invention. Or did we invent lightening too?

concept fail: when you "create" Electricity, the quote is: "If we didn't invent Electricity, we'd be watching Television by Candlelight"

i think a good way to make this game better is .. get a storyline behind it .. like first the elements of nature , then the "living beings" and plants , and then the inventions being made .. and with sort of a background imaging what the world is looking like while youre doing it.
