How do these high scores work?

If a game is exclusive to Dig Your Own Grave or uses the Mochi Bridge, the high scores are submitted through the game itself. Alternatively, scores can be submitted via screenshots. The authenticity of the screenshots is moderated by the user community.

A magnifying glass means the score was submitted via screenshot. Click on it to view the screenshot the user submitted as proof of their score.

If you believe the screenshot is invalid, suspicious, or does not accurately represent the score entered, then click this dispute link to have an administrator inspect the entry.

This icon means that a highscore has been flagged by another user as requiring inspection, and it is currently awaiting moderation by an administrator.

If a score has no icon, it means that it was submitted directly though the game. These scores cannot be disputed.

You must be a registered user to submit and dispute high scores. You can create an account or, login if you already have one.

Thanks for the advice Mick, once I stopped trying to get every gem and ignoring anything that was to dangerous I got the gold.

Did anybody else notice that the higher you get the more different things your tower can be? And the new ones are harder.

A few tips... Don't ever risk your life for any gem, just keep climbing, as you get higher there'll just be more opportunity for diamonds, which really matter, score wise.

Save the gem magnets for diamonds, because they are often hard to reach. Timers also are a good help in grabbing diamonds.

If you get trophies, just get out of the tower, that way you won't lose them later on. It might seem banal advice, but I've had to do a whole bunch of stuff two or three times because I thought I could just do three more levels and get another trophy. And that sucks.

Admin, you should note that the score submission should be for Arcade mode, although both Arcade and Survival have similar submission policies.

With Survival, you're able to "bank" your gems and basically start back out at the bottom of the (randomly generating, mind) level. There's a certain cost to doing this, and it would be pretty easy to tell who played Survival and submitted a score and who played Arcade to submit a score, since any Arcade scores can only display with 25/50/75/00 as the end two numbers. But obviously being able to bank your points and start over again is a pretty key advantage, so the screenshots might need to be monitored carefully.
