    Nika, cats do not impersonate mushrooms. They chase birds, kill them and leave them in YOUR bed ( really. This happened 2 days ago ). After that, they try to open the drawers of your closet. If they manage to, you find your clothes full of holes and/or fur. And regardless of all of that, they still jump on your table to steal your food WHILE you are eating. :P ( goodbye sweet chicken, you were soooo tasty...)

    Is the idea their that any nocturnal activity PROVES dreaming akin what humans experience. Or just that "sleep walking" is not possible in an animal unless that animal can dream. I kinda like the thought of that. It went from hypothesis to fact like that. Cool beans.

    Actually felis, it proves that dogs have a very active brain capable of creating actual dreams.
    But of course, it's more amusing to have a cat who gets up only to eat and then goes back to impersonating a mushroom.
