After all the color blinders complaining about games they can’t play because they’re color blind (wa wa wa), I’ve decided to post a game perfectly suited to their vile disease. (And the game isn’t broken – you just have to choose your country from the list in the bottom before playing.) |

Experiment: There was one section that I noticed was noticeably tougher. I think it was the blue-green scale. My favorite color is red, but sometimes I get tired of red and make blue my favorite color in the interim.

Oh, and for your experiment: all of my mistakes were in the blue-green range, and my favorite colors are warm yellow-greens, orange-yellows, red-oranges, and warm-tone light blues (basically, not blue-green, as teal is my least favorite color).

twixman i got 0 - so it was all the same to me in terms of difficulty.
evryone post what your favourite colour is and what color you scored worst at, it's a little research to check if my theory is true.

ive done this test twice. sober and totally smashed. sober, i got a nine, and was incapable of managing blue and purple hues... wasted, i got a four and was totally incapable of matching orange hues which is what i think im actually semi-colorblind to. i have serious problems differentiating between orange and red...
Ok, tried it again at home with better lighting conditions (no glare) and got a 3. Strangely, I still can't seem to leave the house wearing matching clothes.

Wow! I got a 0, but I usually miss one or two on my first try with these color things. Male, 20-29.
That was kinda tough, and by the last one, I was anxious to get done, heh.
This was quite interesting.
Scored an 8 in the 30-39 range. No real problems anywhere. Probably helped to have high end CRT monitors and a background in graphic arts. :)

i gave up after trying ONE of the rows...they are all the same to me...
wow i'm really friggin scared of this thing. However, looking up at an LCD monitor definately helps discern hues
Twixman, that might actually be true, about liking colors because you can't see them as well. A lot of people like blue or similar colors, and humans have more trouble seeing that color than other animals. However, less people seem to like orange, like blaze orange, and of all the colors humans can see that best. This theroy must definitly be tested.
I got 12 (16-19,m), but i made all my mistakes in the light blue/turquoise

I got 8... Some of them in the blues were really hard to tell apart.
this explains why all my friends told me I had a girlfriend with green teeth and I didnt notice
i actually tried my best to do this one, got a 58 an dit took me about 15 minutes to finish the thing lol. my head hurts.
16 for the 30-39 age category, male. Not too bad, considering I did it on a poor contrast screen with bad glare. Ug, now I have a headache.

A hint for you guys : turn up the contrast on your monitor.
I already know that I have red green colorblindness, but I did this anyway and I found it more frustrating than half of my exams, my score told me what I already knew too -.-

I scored 20 in age range 10-15. The thing that bothers me is that the most mistakes are in aquatic green/blue tints and those are my favourite colours.
Might it be that most people automaticly have a favourite color because of being a little worse at seeing the tints for that color without realising it?? This must be tested!

Good news is that I scored pretty good on my first try.
Bad news is I think this game *made me* colorblind.
I got an 88. The lower the score the better? Oh and I was male and 16-19 for the ranges.
I got 99 on my first go through. I am great.
