I may not know where Sassari is, but if they made one of these for Taco Bells and strip clubs within a 10 mile radius I would destroy you guys.

I'm very seriously disappointed, I expected fierce competition, and barely got a tiny bit of it.

So now that I have lost faith in you folks, I'm going to post my best score, which I got in the very first day but was keeping for later.

I was lucky to get 13k at school on my laptop with a tiny screen and a crappy mouse... And now that I'm at home on my desktop I get 20k without trying.

(p.s. despite the inconsistencies like "Tbilisi, Gerogia" or describing Sardinia as Sardinia but Sicily as Italy, I like this one much better than Where On Earth?)

As far as locations go it's definitely more challenging, but unfortunately the quality doesn't match the challenge level.
I just can't get over the fact they seem to think Sarajevo is practically on Adriatic coast, Innsbruck is somewhere in North Italy etc.

Personally I prefer this to, say, Where On Earth? because there is a much larger range of places and their locations are much mre varied. Also it gets nice and challenging when the lines disappear.

I'll skip the subjective annoyances (color and size of the map) and just say that scaling and precision make it obvious that it was a cursory work.

I know, it's just a flash game, but the other geography games were so much more appealing than this one. ;)

If I knew how to install rankosaurus on linux (if that in fact is possible) I might actually be able to make the high score.
