But I like Mexico... 0_o
The explanation made this video for me.
That and the "Bye bye!".
Seriously though, the drug wars+giant bathtub worms make me think that mexico is as close to hell as anywhere on earth gets.
Then again, South America and Africa are pretty bad too...
I'm stickin' with Europe, northwestern Asia, and North America from now on.
This reminds me of the movie Slither.
cynnicysm, your link has blown out the page!
i love how the guy at the end just casually says "Bye-bye!!!"
This one's just for you Nika - the original Dune trailer digitally remastered:

If we're going with the Dune theme, does that make Admin, Paul Muad'Dib?
How is it Mexican?
Good fishing bait!
kinda looks like a ceacillian but it moves to slow, i think nika is right, earthworm
That blue worm is awesome. I can imagine finding it during field research and then making bunch of tasteless jokes about papa smurf and his equipment.
what i find creepy, is that he just let it go down the pipe. D:
what if it pops up in another bit of his bathroom?
say...the toilet?!
nooo thank you. i woulda gotten rid of it.
zomg nika i have foudn you new friends: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://scienceblogs.com/zooillogix/giant%2520gippsland%2520earthworm.jpg&imgrefurl=http://scienceblogs.com/zooillogix/2008/05/giant_blue_earthworms_and_frie.php&h=284&w=470&sz=27&tbnid=FxmHxYAkBmkXkM:&tbnh=78&tbnw=129&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dgiant%2Bearthworms&usg=__-kL7INjQHpHQRdiYqpNCxt8FK0Q=&ei=zYg2Sui3MZfIM6OX6Y0K&sa=X&oi=image_result&resnum=1&ct=image
The reason I say it is fake, has nothing to do with the worm itself. I know they get that big. Obviously marine worms grow massive and I've seen 12 inch long worms with my own eyes on land. The reason I say it is fake has to do with the drain. Perhaps it's a trick of the camera or the location, but it doesn't seem quite natural. It's the same reason I pegged the chameleon video as a fake. Of course just because I was right then, doesn't mean I am about this, it's just a hunch.
Finally...please share the "bath tube" story if it's not too personal.
that's one big earthworm, now whats left to hear is how it got yp in the first place and why....
Yeah, I read comments on some sites and they say it's fake- but that's such a default thing to write that I don't consider it unless someone elaborates.
Also, I can't believe you wrote bath *tube*.
The only reason I'm pointing out that mistake is cause it (strangely) has a sentimental meaning to me.
So thank you for reminding me. :)
Yes nika, this is a prequel of an infant Paul Atreides in the bath tube.
For the record...while I know many worms get this big and bigger, I think this video is faked.
I'm not sure should I explain this one or wait for someone who read the Dune series to do it for me. Or I will simply remain misunderstood. *sigh*
what do you mean "baby" ?! how big do sandworms actually get?
It's either a simple earth worm (they can definitely get this big), or it's a baby Arrakian sandworm.
I always knew Dune is really Mexico.
Don't worry Admin. If you go to those really fancy resorts, you'll have little chance of seeing these things.
Besides, I have never seen these things when I've gone to Mexico, considering the fact that I stayed in a sort of abandoned, run down house in a pueblo.
