These remind me of some picture I saw where someone made a hamburger and fries out of cake and even the thing that holds hamburgers and fries!
She even has the template for the fry holder and whatnot on a page where you can print them out...

Now I want a hamburger and some fries made out of cake!

There's no doubt about that, DYOG members are an elite squad. Maybe the reason I reacted the way I did was because it surprised me so much.

My goodness, guess I've been using the internet way too long and my spelling criteria plummeted- I haven't even noticed anything you mentioned. :P

Comparing to some similar sites, DYOG users have superior spelling skills.

Perhaps it was the word cheeseburger being spelled incorrectly. Or the ph used for fan, which unfortunately I imagine was done on purpose. Then again it could have been "mintues" which was by far my favorite, and gave me the urge to buy some Mentos.

I'm sure it *sounds* illogical to you cause you've probably been using it wrong all the time, same as I *know* how illogical it is to think word "these" automatically implies only things you are the author of. ;)

And to be honest, I'm not sure which post of the above was spelled so bad it made you react- mine contained lapsus calami caused by "I" and "O" being keyboard neighbors.

That is completely illogical. "These" comments would refer to any comments that I had made, not the comments made by others.

You just made a grammatical mistake: if you were referring to the above comments, the proper word to use is *these*. By using *those* it seems like you're talking about something that's not in your proximity- maybe comments on the site linked in the post.

Unfortunately a lot of North Americans make that mistake and I'm used to it- I wouldn't be pointing it out if you didn't feel the urge to express your dissatisfaction with our spelling.

I like stuff like this. If you\'ve ever tried to do it, you\'ll see it\'s harder than it looks.

I didn't feel like taking out the slashes. Two mintues takes forever to pass!

That's great. Nothing says i love you more than a cupcake baked to resemble a tastes-like-cardboard McDonald's burger. Mmmmm mmm good.

Personally I'm a phan of the iPhone icon cupcake:
