    Nice post! I actually learned about the Lake Peigneur disaster and saw that movie in my Engineering Professional Practice course... We saw a lot of films about crazy engineering disasters in that class kept on laughing about this one for weeks.

    Especially the part where the old guy wears an "I survived Lake Peigneur" hat and is labelled "Survivor", even though no one died in the accident.
