nice little game, its kind of relaxing...
That was hard but im getting the hang of it. Soon ill be at the top of the list.
oh well, 97k reached, fine. 4th place tho :(
That was significantly harder than I was expecting!!!
good game but it does test my knowledge of the world a bit. It made me realize that I need to study a world map.
Last! I'd try improving, but I don't want to inflate my score and give you swell folks the impression that I know where the Egyptian Pyramids are.
But I- I... *sob*
I had a gold....
Next thing I know I have a bronze?
*sniff*
Sorry guys, I lucked out: played only three times today and two of those were pretty successful. Good night of sleep does wonders I guess.
(hint: the other score I got is higher ;) )
What? I LOST my medal now? Well I think I know what I'll be doing tonight.
96383.....Ya-Baby.......
95,833 almost got on the Board...:D
62,000 points by only clicking england, no matter what. The best i got was a 32
i got really lucky, i kinda remembered where the place was and just clicked there and was lucky enough to get it exactly
wow that was extemally hard!
i got exactly on one pf the places, 0 km away
Hmm.. which route would I go down? Find a Londoner to kidnap you? Excessive..
Probably just play so many times more I memorised that too..
Whereas you could just click on England and get points..
My dear TM#2,
I have feeling that if this game required of you to put a marker on 'nika', you wouldn't be the proud owner of that shiny medal. ;)
I'm really bad at this game.... I know where they're from and what country but then I don'y know where the country is........ And that is SUPER MEGA PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!
Oh dear, I am better at locating buildings in Southeast Asia than I am I locating my nations capital.
It's actually pretty easy to click a specific place in Europe when you live there.. I could be at the Gerkin, the Welsh assembly, or the Scottich parliament today if I wanted to.. I've grown up with maps like that, and I've been to every country you have to click (except the Asian and South Amercian ones)..
Nika and Morhkt, on the other hand, must just be brilliant..
...cause places in Europe tend to move around at their own will..?
was it just me or was 80% of this stuff in Europe? it's hard to click somewhere specific in europe you know.
hey yessy666 i dis agree with those first 2 lines. the rest what ever but the United States of America is the best!!! WOOOOO!!!!!but i guess it is opinion... BUUUUT we can all agree that france is the absoloute worst country in the world. And thats not opinion its fact. (stinky cheese)
Kazakhstan greatest country in the world.
All other countries are run by little girls.
Kazakhstan number one exporter of potassium.
Other countries have inferior potassium.
Kazakhstan home of Tinshein swimming pool.
It’s length thirty meter and width six meter.
Filtration system a marvel to behold.
It remove 80 percent of human solid waste.
Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan you very nice place.
From Plains of Tarashek to Norther fence of Jewtown.
Kazakhstan friend of all except Uzbekistan.
They very nosey people with bone in their brain.
Kazakhstan industry best in the world.
We incented toffee and trouser belt.
Kazakhstan’s prostitutes cleanest in the region.
Except of course Turkmenistan’s
Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan you very nice place.
From Plains of Tarashek to Norther fence of Jewtown.
Come grasp the might phenis of our leader.
From junction with the testes to tip of its face!
can someone please explain to me why the america clubs building would be in spain?!?!
I just chose countries in Europe =P
I got 82k
the best i can do is 82k. im too lazy to try over and over again lol.
I won't rest until I get that gold back, nika.
I wonder how accurate a Flash world map is....
I scored that one five minutes after I posted previous one, but I figured I'll wait with posting til someone beats me. ;)
If it makes you all feel better, a guy from my work scored over 98000 on his second try. :P
i scored 11K :(
im ashamed of myself now :/
Yeah, I noticed that most of the places were in and around Europe as well; good thing, because I'm terrible when it comes to geography any further east in Eurasia.
But yeah, if you have enough patience and/or luck a lot of the places repeat themselves quite often.
Here's a trick that will boost your high score - always choose England. I only took it once and scored 75k. Well over half the sites were in the UK. Perhaps I am an uncultured Yankee, but i had never heard of most of these places.
The Gerkin - What a cool name for something.
It's a fair point nika- there are some I'd never heard of before that I'm getting pretty much dead on, it's more a memory test than anything else.. maybe that deserves high scores though?
True that it's repetitive, but my first try was 89k and after 6 times playing it I still haven't beaten that.
I'm sorry I have to say this, but after playing it few times I'm not sure this should be a high score game at all: it's repetitive and only thing you need is either a good memory or a lot of free time.
It's very educational though: for example, I had no idea there's a Dancing House in Prague- I'll make sure I check it out in the near future. ;)
I think I'm going to temporarily set my resolution to 800x600.
Oh great, now I have to get back on top *sigh*, there goes another afternoon
Sorry TM#2 (#2 is not for the second place here, but cause there's a senior TM in these parts ;) ).
If it comforts you I'm sure my score won't stay up long either- some things I knew and some things were pure logic: place called 'The Gerkin' can't be anywhere else but in UK. :P
I- I got gold.. I'm sooo happy.. I'm sure it'll get stolen soon but I'ma enjoy it while it lasts (hooray for living in England)
My closest 3 were:
Houses of Parliament: 27
Gazprom HQ: 23
The Gerkin: 0 (ZERO)
It's not so much that my geography skills would really be the problem here...It's more the fact that I had absolutely no idea that 85% of these buildings even existed.
I'll be sure to put on the dunce cap and walk around with one sock down and one sock up today in penance.
