    we actually made ball lightning by accident once in school. some kids figured out that if you stick an aluminum foil gum wrapper into a light socket it shorts out the trailers our high school used to expand classrooms. then some idiot tried it in the physics dept and it just didn't short out. after about 2 minutes a blue orb about the size of a basketball sorta floated out of the socket and chugged its way across the room and through the window outside. it was uh...terrifying? terrifyingly awesome.
