Walking on Water

Walking on Water
Walking on Water

Or to be more accurate, oobleck, a mixture of corn starch and water. It has the properties of a non-Newtonian fluid, which behaves like a solid when force is applied.

I've this done before, but it its still interesting. The cornstarch must make the water more dense.

We made this in 5th grade science, but when i tried to walk on it i was a bit slow. It isn't really hard to get out of clothes. A warm wash should suffice.

If this video featured Japanese, Admin would say they have no respect for surface tension.

Still sorta neat for the first couple of times but, like 22{{heart}}22 said, it gets old after a while.

It looks like an overflow pond at an artificial insemination factory.
