I didn't see any old western 'thunder mugs'. :)
The problem arises when you go into the bathroom of the restaurant and you can't tell the difference.
Personally, I think it's just weird. Not funny, not particularly creative, just wierd. S&M was also the result of 'outside the box' thinking, and look how it's turned out for Germany (see the original 1890s play Spring Awakening, then look at how WWI, and its sequel, turned out).
two last thoughts:
1) I eat while sitting on the toilet all the time. I don't see anything wrong with that, but eating out of a toilet? That could lead to the developement of some bad habits. It also sends the wrong message to small children.
2) That ice cream looked really good.
I sure hope they put lemonade in the glasses and not...

By the way people theyre not real touilets they\'re plastic containers and chairs made to look like toilets it is not gross jst an interesting concept.

Ya, I couldn't eat there. That's weird.
Food usually ends up in the toilet anyway, so why not eat from them to begin with?
And if that business goes down the toilet, you can always say: "Which one?"

P.S. Strawberry eating while ******* isn't that disgusting, sometimes when i get home from class i have 15 minutes to get ready for work and dont have time to relieve myself so sometimes i end up eating in the bathroom

It brings a whole new meaning to the expression "This food tastes like sh*#".
Seriously though, since toilets are designed to hold up larger people this place might become a favourite with the obese who otherwise might be afraid to break a chair.
Of course I'm fairly sure the toilets aren't functional but for some people, if they were, that would be a huge selling point - the convenience factor - knowing that if you really needed to 'go' you wouldn't have to wait in a queue.
i LOVE IT!! haha that is such a great idea! finally someone willing enough to take a huge leap and think out of the box! i think a lot more restaurants should have a specific theme like this one.. something that is new, fun, and exciting..

No, I'm not squeamish - I'm just afraid that I wouldn't be able to control that Pavlovian reflex provoked by sitting on a toilette.
