Tilt-Shift Miniature Faking
categories: Pics

Believe it or not, all of these photos are of real, life-size objects and locations. They have been made to appear like miniature models through the process of tilt-shift miniature faking.

The best one is the piece of construction equipment because, no matter how long I look at it, I can't begin to get a perspective on it.

I particularly like the shipwreck best. I can picture a hand dip down and pick the wreck out of the shallow water, like a child recovering a forgotten tub toy.

That's a pretty neat concept that they used in the pictures. Some of them look very realistic.

These photos are perfect for building and head-crushing like they did in that oh-so-Canadian sitcom, The Kids in the Hall.

You've got it backwards cynn - the stuff in these pictures *is* real. It's been made to look miniature through the tilt-shift shaza-ma-taz technique.

i never think this stuff looks real, there always seems to be a little too much stuff in focus for it to be a real camera...maybe they need minature camera's too?
