Wow... people are kinda ridiculous... Oh look a cute little furry monkey! Yes! Lets go there to eat! Oh cool! You can "tip" them with soy beans! AWESOME!
Whereas I think of it as; Oh look! A cute little monkey having to do a pretty dang boring mindless task every day! Sweet! And look! He has an adorable little chain around his neck! Awwww...
I saw the chain around his neck...And is it just me, or does the chain sorta look like a handcuff?
Eh...It's probably just me.
Gomenesai for the stupid comment ^^;;;
awesome!!!monkeys will soon take over and rule the world!
Goddamn macaque monkeys
They always steal my food and artifacts
all my dwarves are trained to kill them for the good of the fortress
Then you'd have a chunky monkey, waddling around, pooting a lot, breathing all heavy and staring bug-eyed you and your friends when you eat.
Maybe I should get a monkey for my house to fetch me some water. I will pay him in bannanas!
Lots of bannanas and icecream. Who wouldn't like that?
I was kinda looking at that chain, as well. And in that close-up shot near the beginning, the monkey did not have a very happy look on his face.
I'm guessing they were trained for this purpose as a draw for new customers. It's cute, but I would need to see much more evidence that the monkeys enjoy their work before I'd be accepting of the situation.
In the inevitable future, all our labour force will be replaced by animals like Monkeys!
Sadly, those monkeys serve better than some of the wait staff I've been exposed to...
Three Japaneese posts in three days?
Say 'macaque' fast three times in a row. :P
Other than that: yes he's cute, and yes he gets his little soy beans as a prize- but I can still see a chain around his neck.
That's really cool. I want a pet monkey!
