I wonder what English speakers sound like when they try and speak Japanese?

    I spent the first minute waiting for them to start speaking in English. Then it hit me. It was a really hard baseball and it was going pretty fast too, but do they ever speak English in this?

    Chinese was my first language, yet I somehow managed to taint it with 'that yankee accent' nika speaks of. :/

    I couldn't understand half of the 'English' in that video. o_o;

    awesome. i'm going to be trying to learn japanese soon, it's good to know that i can make fun of their english as much as they can make fun of my japanese.

    Americans speak every language with that yankee accent- even the phD's can't pronounce latin names.
    As far as the Japanese goes: my friend started learning it when he was five, even lived there for a few years- and apparently he still sounds a bit silly to them.

    Heh, its always interesting hearing people speak in a language they don't really know. I wouldn't be surprised if these people only barely speak english, reading it off a card with very little idea about pronunciation or tone.

    But I've heard Americans speak Dutch and that was equally ridiculous.
