Garfield Minus Garfield

Garfield Minus Garfield
Garfield Minus Garfield

People have already removed Garfield’s thought bubbles from Garfield comics with surprisingly good results, but this goes that logical step further - removing Garfield from the equation entirely. The result is a darkly humorous comic about the depressions of modern life.

Garfield died as soon as he learned to stand on two legs...

the comic should have ended long ago, when the two dimensional characters were exhausted for all the laughs that they contained, all the comics now are just repeats of the same story over and over...

I think it's a sign that Garfield is only good once Garfield himself is removed...

Also, no matter how many times I read these, I still laugh.

With this and Lasagna Cat making Garfield funny, you'd think Jim Davis would step it up and deliver some humor every once in a while.
