Dwarf Soccer Team

Gigantes del Norte is a Brazilian soccer team made up entirely of players suffering from dwarfism. They play against under-13 teams, drawing huge crowds, and it’s all to raise awareness of sizeism.

I agree with Teflon. I also have a bone to pick with the idiot BBC announcer. When she said that the guinness book of world records contacting the team was proof that size doesn't matter, she kind of missed an important point. The world records book staff contacted the team BECAUSE of their size. What, does she think the book of world records gives mention to ALL random South American soccer teams? NO! IT'S 'CAUSE THEY'RE SHORT!!!

Yes, I have always felt the best way to fight discrimination was to band together in groups of just one type of person. I also feel the best way to show little people are fully capible is to have them play sports against children.
