Some of you were unhappy that yesterday’s water balloon didn’t explode, so here’s another slow motion video. Interestingly enough, this footage is nearly identical to the high-speed film of me punching a bowling ball. I’m serious, it liquefied. |

the correct term is "one a these days alice, one a these days, pow!right in the kissa"
this is like watching a planet explode in slow motion.
EVENMOREAWESOME
Watching these highspeed water balloon things calms me down.
what would be cool is if a high speed camara collected high speed sound aswell.
Overall, I have to vote the first water balloon one as my favorite. This was neat though.
thats was so cool, but i agree, it doesnt look like it was punched, and i was wondering why. thanks for clarifying ;-)
I like how it stayed in a sphere after it popped, that was awesome.
yeah that had to have been a pin punch cause if it wasn't it would have contoured his/her hand then popped not the instant he touch it it really is amazing to watch though
i like watching it backwards
thats awesome!!!
That's so cool. The person must have punched it pretty hard.
Thats much better then the other one!
It does kind of look like a stabbing punch but I don't see anything between the fingers.
This one and the other balloon one are so interesting to watch. I really could see them over and over to study the movements and patterns. It reminds me of the explanation of chaos theory from Jurassic Park (book or movie). I'd like to see three or four in a row to see if each had the same pattern or if it would be different.
I would think different, even if the same surface tension existed due to subtle changes in the environment. Yet still, would be interesting to see. Alas, I have no slow motion camera!
Side note: I don't think he punched it. It looks like he has a pin between his thumb and forefinger.
That was definitely awesome.
