Today I am pleased to announce the launch of our very first Dig Your Own Grave exclusive game. And let me tell you, I couldn’t be more excited. The game features some of my most favorite things in the world, including guns, giant explosions, advanced force-field technology, and of course, shooting endangered manatees. |
Oh, the Huge Manatee!DigYourOwnGrave High Scores:
If a game is exclusive to Dig Your Own Grave or uses the Mochi Bridge, the high scores are submitted through the game itself. Alternatively, scores can be submitted via screenshots. The authenticity of the screenshots is moderated by the user community.
 A magnifying glass means the score was submitted via screenshot. Click on it to view the screenshot the user submitted as proof of their score. If you believe the screenshot is invalid, suspicious, or does not accurately represent the score entered, then click this dispute link to have an administrator inspect the entry. This icon means that a highscore has been flagged by another user as requiring inspection, and it is currently awaiting moderation by an administrator.If a score has no icon, it means that it was submitted directly though the game. These scores cannot be disputed.
 You must be a registered user to submit and dispute high scores.

oh i forgot if your going for save the Whales and gt the weapon then just point the mouse down and you can still walk just move the mouse just thought id give a tip.

I can't seem to kill 40 sea creatures BUT I did manage to *nearly* save the whales before I decided on a killing spree...
I loved the music in the game.

this game is whack. i played it one time and i got two achievements. and you have a lot of free time to get that high score.

I think it's a great game for wasting some time. Short sweet and to the point of the assassin sword fish's nose.

DANGIT!!! I finally got the save the whales achievement but I am using a proxy to bypass our school's filter and for some reason it doesn't auto submit on a proxy server and when I click the submit scores and achievement button it would open in a different tab and be blocked by the filter. So know I have to redo it all on my laptop.

hard game. And SAMBO when they hit the bubble it counts as a kill.
im just wandering... for the 3rd achievent... does it count as "killing a sea animal" if they die by popping ure shield? cos i got over 15k without using any bombs or guns... but still no achievement... i think its becos i popped them with the bubble :S

To patogracho: I had the same problem earlier. Did you check to see if you were picking up shields? If an animal hits the shield it dies, and counts as a kill.
K, so this is the second time I've gotten to 15000 points without killing anything and I don't get the achievement, I don't use the bombs and I always have my cursor pointed below the line so that if I get the gun it goes straight down and no bullets are fired... am I missing something here?

The achievements are good, but they need more DYOG games...
I'm glad these achievments came up. As you can see not only they popularizied the DYOG brand games, but also raised up the competition. Look at manatee's highscores - the 3 medals are seperated by less than 1500ps!
And the last but not least thing I want to say about the 3rd achievments in every game - the hard ones tasks really train you better to get into the gameplay of the game. I don't play Spidergame, but for the other two is just like this. The without killing single animal task learn you how to move between the animals quickly which is very important skill in crisis situations /for example - you have 80k ps and no grenades at all/. And the other one - the tunnel vision is priceless because of the same arguments. And after playing for it for a while it improves your agility to see in perspective :]

Ya, this set of acievements were very easy, the only one i had any trouble with at all was tunnel xision, that one was tricky.

And if you use the extra 500 points of the bubble-over-bubble bonus you can achieve the 3rd task easily.

Audiox can make this achievments because he's Gamer. Also his Tip is right, except for the bubbles. You can take the shield and blow it with the blast from the penguins without killing an animal ;]

While going for the save the whales achievement.
If you grap a gun, put your mouse underground.
Never gather a shield.
Always get the grenades, but never use them (once you get 5 you can't hold anymore so they are replaced by a 500 point bonus)

ah i had some glitch that meant i didnt die. The score got up to like 50k but i couldn't submit as the game didnt end!

That was actually a bug. The sounds button is supposed to only mute the sound effects, and not the music. I've uploaded a new version that should fix the problem (you'll probably need to hard-refresh the game page (CTRL-F5) to force your browser to get the new version).
Ignore that last post. Upon further research, I realize the no sound button turns off the sound and music, but the no music button only turns off the music....
There is a no sound button. It's in the bottom left corner right next to the no music button.

when you get the shoe you can run faster then your bullets, so i ran right into the thing i was shooting at
