Hmm...we have something similar to this at my high school. They call it "Fitness Testing" and those that fall off the obstacles are impaled on 5 feet long spikes.
I changed my name from Clever Fellow to Little Guppie...cause its cute...kawaii! (If you are not an expert in Japanese, kawaii = cute got it?) But I love Ninja Warrior. It's awesome. I think it's just hilarious that those people train for years. ^_^ BWAHAHA!
The losers aren't killed, just disgraced, which is worse than death in Japan and often leads to death shortly after.
why is being a ninja warrior such a big deal to the japanese?? the commentator like screams his head off constantly... the best i can come up with is that they kill the losers...
I watch this show all the time at my cousins house. What I don't get is why is it entitled under "crazy"?
I always watch this show. The un-timed third stage is kickass.

Wow, this is the first time i'v seen someone win on there.
It's funny to watch normal people attempt stage one, only real ninjas have the skills for the other stages.
