Wait, sorry, is Chewbaka saying that Cosby cant win or "Comic Sacrifice" cant win? Because if you meant Cosby then thats what i agree with.
I agree whole heartedly with Chewbaka on this one. All they have to do is walk into the courtroom, explain that it is there right under the constitution to mock someone openly without retribution and Bill Cosby cant say crap! I mean seriously if Bill Cosby is such a little freak that he cant take a joke about himself then he deserves to have worse stuff made about him. It makes me so mad when these rich people find someone making fun of them and have to take "legal action" against them!!!! I mean its the U.S.A. people not Communist Russia!!!
Its a legal battle they'd never win. Its a cartoon and I'd guess it goes under free speech. By comparison, there is a show called Lil Bush out right now. In essence its the same thing, and that show is going to go off air before any legal action is taken on the creators.

The makers were not "forced" to stop making the show. The lawyer just sent them a stern letter telling them that they intended to take legal action, for mocking Cosby.
Legally, it was probably their right to do so, but most likely "Comic Sacrifice" didn't have the funds, or just didn't want to fight the legal battle that would have ensued.
Basically. Cosby and his lawyer pulled a bluff (backed by the millions that is the Cosby fortune), and "Comic Sacrifice" decided to just back down.
Sad really. :(
Bill Cosby isn't copy right protected. Why would the maker be forced to stop? Unless Fox has plans for a similar prime time show this season.
too bad that #4 is the last one... there is a #5 but its just there to show a letter from some lawyer stating that they have to quit making the cosby cartoons...
