Flight of the HamstersDigYourOwnGrave High Scores:
If a game is exclusive to Dig Your Own Grave, the high scores are submitted through the game itself. If the game is not exclusive, scores are ranked based on screenshots. The authenticity of the screenshots is moderated by the user community.

To use the scatebord you have to be strate.
hit the ground at a relatively horizontal angle, maybe after a couple of bounces, and the skateboard will appear underneath you and skirt along the ground. sometimes its all you need to hit another springboard and increase your score.
I did. To use it u have to press left mouse button when you fell on the ground and you bearely move.

I do hope Ham is just a jolly funny guy, not a freak that thinks cartoon hamsters flying in a flash game are supporting animal abuse.

My daughter found this site and we just had a ball with it. She talked me into going out and buying a dozen or so hamsters. We really wanted to have fun one day so we took them outside, got a tennis racket and started launching them! We take turns to see who can hit them out the farthest! I'm telling you we have never had so much fun! She loves it! I'm telling ya the critters seem to like it alot too! They are all smiles when we retrieve them. We don't always find them however, we are down to three but they are the happiest little things you have ever seen!
This entire game originated from the phrase "Hamster Glide", didn't it?

The little hamsters cheer even when you suck like I do. They're cute, but other than looking at a bunch of cute little animated hamsters and hearing "Ride of the Valkryies," there's just no point in this thing. I played this for the first time tonight and I got zero across the board. Can someone take it offline?
I got 3998 on one hamster. and thats how i ended up on the toplist.
I'm new on this site but been playing on another. What's the best single hamster flight? I got 2243 ft on one and only ended up with 3756ft. not good enough to get on the board yet.

The skateboard is for when your hamster is gliding almost parallel to the ground. When it seems as though you'll stop, the hamster whips out the skateboard and rolls a lot farther.

It's pretty funny to get over 1900 on one jump and get like 75 on the next...that's how inconsistent I am.

to use the skateboard u got bounches a cupple time on the ground or slide then the skateboard appeard and u slide more
I was just browsin thru when I saw all the medals. HOLY SH*T some ppl have a wee bit 2 much free time on their hands.
Yeah you need a certain amount of luck. If there are no rockets you'll crash and there's nothing you can do, but it's not too unusual to get 1500, so it'll just take a lot of tries before you end up getting three of them on one go... it'll happen soon.
to get 1000ft average per hamster would be more luck than skill...

record distance for me 887(one hamster) 2103 (total)
i just end up going high now, to go long you need a lot of luck
(land on a sprong with a yellow ball and keep clicking, when you bounce afterwards you go pretty high...)

I got 3516 ft and saved a screenshot before registering and when I came back to submit it turned out it had to be in PNG format and of the whole screen. Wouldn't it had been a good idea to write that in the first screen?

i cant get around 200 feet on one hamster.
Is it just my computer or does everything start to suddenly speed up as soon as you get to around 900ft?

I know you 3 or 4 thousand hamster-heads would probably laugh at my 1780 result, but I'm very proud of it. In fact: I'll print it, frame it and hang it in the office next to my diploma.. :P

This game is AWESOME. The rats are sooo adorable. I got a score of 305:]
I dont know that the flight is better, but you can control your bounces a whole lot better with pink balls when you do go down.
I thought the game was fun but i can't get very high score either... Oh well guess i need more practice.
The yellow balls bounce much higher. People tell me the flight's better with the pink balls, but I can't tell the difference. I just try to hang on to the yellow ones.

it takes a while to get it. You gotta rapidly tap your mouse, not hold it to get the best effect. Stay low when you have good speed and a bubble so you can see the springboards, but when you start slowing down and don't see any rockets, flutter really fast to get up high in hopes you fins something. You gotta get good at aiming your bounces too, which is why the pink balls are better most of the time.

Coopster, keep the hamster's flight as flat as you can. If you go up to high you'll come down too quick. Hit all the rockets you see, but only hit the blowy things when you need them.

there's a korean flash game called nana crash that's quite similar, and just as fun... but this is definitely a huge improvement over kitten cannon

It's hard to use the skateboard, but when you do it's worth it. You have you be going basically parallel to the ground and bounce a little when you hit it. Just before you stop, the hamster starts to glide on the board.
