you see kids, the ocean is really filled with ugly animals the mere sight of which is too horrendous for most human beings. Under the sea it is nothing like "the little mermaid" That is why you live far from the coast- if the ocean ever floods, you don't have to worry about evil fish being washed up on your doorstep.
