Malice or stupidity?

Malice or stupidity?

Midterm elections take place in the United States tomorrow, and I thought those of you who will be voting might be interested to know just how easy it is to compromise the fancy new electronic voting machine you are likely to be using. None of the four major suppliers of e-voting systems seem to have even a basic understanding of software security.

You know, Its not just democracy. Its in all forms of government. Some lazy jackass comes along and says "Hey!Nobody ever said we CANT do this" Then it all goes to hell because the "trendy" people declare it funny to rebel against "the machine","the man",or what ever AND THEN EVERYONE DOES IT!!NO ONE EVER COMES ALONG AND TELL THEM TO STOP "BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE MEAN" AND *Dies from ruptured aorta*

The entire documentary is available on YouTube right now. Just search for: Hacking Democracy.

Lou Dobbs is probably the biggest journalist covering the problems with electronic voting machines, and this is a pretty funny (in an alarming way) report from his show- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4fwMZVLaUA

Honestly, what kind of company would design a voting machine with an obvious big yellow button that when pushed, allows a person to vote as many times as they want?

    Nika, best line ever :D

And yeah this sucks, just goes to show that voting does nothing! This was almost as disturbing as the whole deal on hacking the new electronic passports coming out!!!
