Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!

Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!
Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt! Lightning Bolt!

If you’ve never heard of LARPing (Live Action Role Playing), then you gotta check it out. In this exciting behind the scenes video, witness a mighty sorcerer cast an array of powerful spells including Lightning Bolt!, Sleep!, (and my personal favorite), Death!

Did anyone else notice the add for online dating directed to people into the whole "larp" thing. i don't think someone wants to look up a 17 year old ginger with post-adolescent acne.
yea reminded me of role-models, good movie though.

I have no idea how LARP combat works, don't want to know either but I guess if levels for combat strength and all the works are involved everyone would instantly become magician and learn death asap -.-

    It's not that sad.
    It's a game after all.
The only thing that bothers me is how old they are...
It's the same situation with any other thing though.
You should grow out of childish games including video games.
Although, free games like what this website has is understandable.

Larpers are their so Rpers have somebody to scoff at. It is kinda funny, you can bounce smirnoff bottles off their skulls all day and they won't do anything about it as long as you pretend to maintain a character as your doing it, as physical touching breaks the "larpers code" or something. You can feel up their hot younger (though legal) sisters (consentually) right in front of them so long as you have a pirate hat or something and they won't bat an eye.

Somehow I can imagine their parents fantasizing about having kids that do more normal things: like breaking into principal's office or having their stomach pumped out after a vodka experiment.

My favourite has to be the live audience at the end - "Oh yay - you killed bad guys - my hero!!" This has to be part of the weekly gathering: Nerd-a-Palooza.
