kiwi is a tragic hero really. filled with delusions of grandeur, he sacrifices all of his time, energy, and ultimately, his life, to persue a vain and unachievable dream.

that tear he sheds at the end isnt out of joy, but of sadness. right before the end, he realized that everything he sacrificed and slaved for was a pipe dream. he had given up everything just for a few moments of thrill.

Ultimately, Kiwi is a sad but important lesson. So many people are unhappy with who they are, and try desperately to be something they're not. Most of them dont change themselves for the better, but end of destroying themselves and their own individuality instead.
