It’s just like Risk, only faster and funner. And you don’t have to talk to people. And I can’t stop playing it. Every time another side takes over one of my areas my rage is so great I want to rip their dice right out of the computer monitor and devour them. And every time my dice win I want to hug them and squeeze them until they explode! Such joy!

The dice ARE random, but you can sometimes win a lost war and vice versa because of them... and the computer tends to cooperate early on against you.

Good game. And the rolls are random, despite what you want to think.

I love it, but I really wish that we could choose where to place our own dice.

It's true the # of reinforcements is based on your largest connected cluster.

The reiforcements are placed randomly on your territories. There is no pattern.

If all of your territories have 8 dice (the max) then you will gain additional dice and the max number of additional dice is 2 rows. You do not gain any more afterward.

I hope the creator makes a sequal :)

Great game. Very addictive.

When all of your areas are full, each time you end turn you get one more dice which stays with you until it can be placed.

Very fun game.

Don not click name.

in Dicewars II you should be able to place your reinfocements wherever you want

they cheat on that game how do the computer get all tose spaces in 1 turn

October 10th, 2006 at 3:29 pm says:

The number of dice you get is the size of the biggest group of zones you own. so if you own a group of 4 zones and a group of 6 zones you get 6 dice. If you can join them together you get 10 dice. If non of you zones can have any more dice they carry over to your next turn.

I find most of the time its better to have a one group of 6 zones then one group of 6 AND a group of 4 as if you only have one group then your getting a 1 dice for each zone you have.

the number of dice you get at the end of each turn is the number of areas that you have that are connected to each other in the longest string. for example, if you have control of 6 areas, in a cluster of 4 and a cluster of 2, you get two additional dice.

what i can't figure out is exactly how it figures out where to put them. it does put them next to your opponents spaces where you need to defend yourself most, but not entirely.

Yay, two wins!

July 9th, 2006 at 2:28 pm zYphrist says:

I seems like its based on how many areas you have linked together (ie. the numbers beside your coloured dice at the bottom) as well as how many dice you already have.

July 8th, 2006 at 2:10 am HB Feermaster says:

I haven't figured out the extra dice thing yet. The amount you get is somehow based on how many areas you occupy, but some parts of it seem kind of random...

Woo, I finally won a game!

July 8th, 2006 at 12:27 am Captain Crunch says:

At the end of each turn you get additional dice.

How does the computer decide how many to give?
