Charleston Style

This is a clever little video featuring unedited footage of 1920’s era Charleston Style dancing set to the music of Daft Punk. I will admit it’s almost as stylin’ as the unedited footage of me dancing to Samantha Fox’s ‘Touch Me’ at my grade 6 prom. Almost.

according to wikipedia, Charleston is most frequently associated with flappers and the speakeasy. Young women would dance alone or together as a way of mocking the "drys," or citizens who supported the Prohibition amendment, as Charleston was then considered quite immoral and provocative.
