“The controller for Nintendo’s upcoming Revolution home console system is a cordless remote-control-like device designed to be used with only one hand. Two small sensors placed near the TV and a chip inside the controller track its position and orientation, allowing the player to manipulate the action on screen by physically moving the controller itself.” More info here. |

Its called a Wii these days :)
I have trouble when it comes to pointing it whenever I play these, but that might be because I only played a few times.
i have a wii now
there was general derision then general interest at work today about this radical new controller. So what if it may not be effective for first person shooters? That genre is the videogame equivalent of a sitcom anyway. Entirely new categories of games are possible - such as "Methlab" - peer thru the blinds, mix chemicals, hide behind the couch, pach everything up quickly before the cops show up...
I want to buy a square shaped watermelon! Yeummy!
My hopes are that this will make video games fun again.
