What is pop culture but consumer culture? We all know that coolness is just conservatism dressed in black, but at least its dressed in black! I am continually amazed at what “the future” looks like.

For example, everyone wants to get a house, a place they can call their own; yet the houses are all identical, no different than the apartments they left. Styleless and classless. A failure of imagination and a triumph of the public school system.

This publication is a manifesto and challenge for the next generation of designers.
